Privacy policy

How we handle the data you entrust to us, and why this website needs no cookies.

  1. 1 Data controllers

    The website halgasreality.cz is run by two estate agents. We both trade as self-employed individuals under a trade licence and work with the RE/MAX Anděl office.

    We are joint controllers of the data you entrust to us. You can contact either of us.

  2. 2 What data we process and why

    When you write to us through the contact form, we process your name, email address, phone number if you give one, and your message. We also process which of us you are writing to and the property reference if your message is about a particular property.

    We need this data to reply to you and to continue the conversation about what you asked. The same applies when you call or email us directly.

    The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in answering the enquiry you sent us (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

    The website does not store your message. The form only delivers it by email to our mailboxes. We keep messages for no more than 3 years from our last contact and then delete them.

  3. 3 Who we share data with

    Only these processors handle the data, and only as far as their service requires:

    • Cloudflare, Inc. hosts the website and runs the form’s bot check (Turnstile). In doing so it processes your IP address.
    • Resend, Inc. delivers the form message as an email.
    • RE/MAX Česká republika runs our mailboxes on the re-max.cz domain, where messages from the form arrive.
    • DeepL SE translates property descriptions into English. It receives no personal data.

    Cloudflare and Resend are based in the United States. Transfers to the US are covered by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

    We share the data with no one else. We do not sell it and do not use it for profiling.

  4. 4 Cookies and tracking

    This website does not use cookies. It does not measure visits and runs no analytics tools. Fonts and images load from our own website.

    The only third-party script is the Cloudflare Turnstile form check on the Contact page. It stores no cookies and serves only to keep bots from misusing the form.

    That is why we do not ask for your consent and the site has no cookie banner.

  5. 5 Reviews

    Client reviews are taken from our public profiles on remax-czech.cz and shown as they were published there. They are anonymous. We show no name or other detail about the author.

  6. 6 Your rights

    You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict its processing and to data portability. You can also object to the processing.

    Just write to either of us at martin.halgas@re-max.cz or bohumila.halgasova@re-max.cz. We will reply without undue delay and within one month at the latest.

    If you believe we handle your data unlawfully, you can lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů), uoou.gov.cz.

  7. 7 Out-of-court resolution of consumer disputes

    If you are a consumer and a dispute arises from a contract with us that we cannot settle by agreement, you can turn to the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce). It resolves disputes between consumers and businesses out of court.
